By using Rookgaard.live, you agree to comply with all current and future rules listed below. The administration may update these rules at any time without notice. Players are responsible for staying informed of any changes. Ignorance of these rules is not a valid excuse.

1. Legal Framework

• All in-game accounts, characters, items, and assets are owned exclusively by Rookgaard: Independent Tibia Server. Users are granted limited, revocable access under server rules.
• Administration may modify, suspend, or terminate accounts or services at any time without notice or liability, including data deletion for server integrity or rule reasons.
• Server activity may be monitored and logged for security and legal compliance. Data remains confidential unless disclosure is legally required or for internal security.
• By using the server, users agree to all current and future rules and laws. Rule ignorance is not a valid excuse.
• Administration may update these terms at any time. Users are responsible for staying informed of changes.

2. Account Management

• Multiple accounts and characters are allowed if all server rules are followed.
• Account sharing is discouraged; users who share credentials do so at their own risk and are responsible for all actions on their account.
• The registered account holder is fully liable for any rule violations, regardless of who used the account.
• Violations by anyone accessing a shared account will result in penalties against the original account holder.
• Use a proper e-mail address, and strong, unique passwords.
• Do not share credentials with untrusted parties. Administration is not liable for losses from compromised accounts.
• Account recovery may be available with proper verification. Administration may limit or refuse recovery at its discretion.

3. Character Name Policy

Character names must not contain, imply, or reference:

• Offensive, obscene, or insulting terms
• Discrimination, hate speech, or derogatory content
• Sexual, explicit, or suggestive material
• Illegal activities or promotion thereof
• Religious, political, or ideological content or propaganda
• Advertising, promotional content, or website/product names
• The real name or pseudonym of other players
• Names or titles of server staff or official entities

Enforcement:

• Administration will review names and may change any that violate these rules.
• Unacceptable names will be replaced with randomly generated ones.

4. Technical Violations

The following are strictly forbidden technical violations:

• Unauthorized automation: Use of bots, macros, scripts, or tools that automate gameplay or provide unfair advantage.
• Client modification: Altering, reverse engineering, or using modified software to interact with the server outside official means.
• Exploiting bugs: Abusing glitches, bugs, or unintended game/server behavior for personal gain or disruption.
• Third-party tools: Using external programs, scripts, or devices to alter, automate, or access the game or server without explicit approval.

Violations will result in immediate administrative action, up to and including suspension or deletion of accounts.

5. Prohibited Behavior

Use of multiple characters is allowed only if it does not provide unfair advantages or disrupt gameplay. The following are strictly forbidden and may result in warning, suspension, or account deletion:

Using multiple characters to:

• Bypass loot or quest/event restrictions
• Block, restrict, or trap players, areas, or NPCs
• Manipulate monsters, spawn points, or events for advantage
• Influence the economy through coordinated accounts or resource hoarding
• Organize or participate in mass actions that disrupt others
• Create artificial advantages via multi-accounting

Additional disruptive actions:

• Harassment, targeting, intimidation, or griefing
• Creating inaccessible zones or obstacles via game mechanics or objects
• Arranging items to display offensive or discriminatory messages
• Placing excessive items/objects that harm server performance

All players must use multi-character access and game mechanics fairly. Exploiting loopholes or disrupting gameplay will not be tolerated.

6. Communication Policy

The following are strictly prohibited in any in-game or server communication channels:

• Threats, intimidation, or incitement of violence
• Harassment, bullying, or organized targeting of individuals or groups
• Advertising, soliciting, or promoting external products or services
• Messages promoting, coordinating, or excusing rule violations
• Knowingly providing false or misleading information to staff or players
• Spamming, flooding, or disruptive repetitive messages
• Promoting inflammatory or off-topic subjects unrelated to the game

7. Reporting and Administration

• Report all rule violations using the official Discord Ticket system.
• Messaging staff privately about game issues is prohibited; use official channels instead.
• Include specific rule references and supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, logs, videos) in your report.
• The administration has full authority to interpret rules and decide actions; decisions are final.
• Respectful feedback is welcomed, but attempts to pressure or harass staff will result in penalties.
• Constructive suggestions are encouraged, but hostility toward staff is prohibited.

8. Penalties

• Penalty levels:
  • Warning
  • Temporary Ban
  • Permanent Account Deletion
• Penalties are determined solely by the administration.
• Warnings are not guaranteed before more severe penalties.
• Serious violations may lead to immediate account deletion without notice.
• Appeals may be submitted but are considered at the administration’s discretion.

9. Content Creation and Streaming

• Streaming and content creation about Rookgaard.live are encouraged.
• All content must comply with server rules and community standards.
• Misrepresenting server features or spreading false information is strictly forbidden.
• Credit Rookgaard.live and respect intellectual property and reputations.
• Monetization is allowed if it follows fair use and does not imply official endorsement.
